&lt;p&gt;The purpose of this role is to perform essential cleaning and refuse bin delivery tasks. These duties encompass street cleaning, sweeping, lane flushing, carcass removal, and refuse bin deliveries. The position requires executing any combination of these activities as assigned.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Key Responsibilities&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Perform street cleaning and sweeping operations on designated areas.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Clean all refuse bins thoroughly.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Always wear appropriate protective clothing during all tasks.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Collect all necessary materials and equipment for daily operations.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Clear any spillage resulting from refuse bag damage.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Clean designated streets and areas using brooms, shovels, or litter pickers. In informal settlements and townships, use hands to fill refuse bags and place them on the pavement for collection by street trucks.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Place filled refuse bags on kerbside or designated refuse areas for collection by street truck teams.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Observe safety protocols during refuse bag collection on pavements.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Report all safety incidents, equipment issues, or injuries to the Team Leader and Operations Supervisor.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Litter-pick one side of the street first, then the other, using appropriate tools. Clean all man-made litter without criss-crossing streets.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Liaise with members of the public, service users, and officials from other departments. Resolve complaints and queries promptly and report service delivery breakdowns to the Team Leader for escalation.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Acquaint yourself with the designated work area.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Distribute refuse bags to consumers according to service agreements. In areas managed by communities or District Managements, the Operations Supervisor provides the required tools.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Collect refuse bags and place them on designated stacking areas.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Proceed to the stacking point, offload bags, ensure bag openings face the road, and stack bags in the prescribed manner. Remove boxes after stacking.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Collect new/replacement bins from central stores and load them onto the bin delivery truck.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Check refuse bins for damage before leaving central stores.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Record all refuse bin serial numbers in the bin delivery register.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure all daily tasks are completed.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Perform any additional tasks delegated by the supervisor.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Offload new/replacement refuse bins at the delivery location. Exchange damaged bins for delivered bins and load them onto the delivery truck.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure customers sign for deliveries and receive a copy of the delivery receipt.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Repeat the delivery process until all scheduled bins are delivered.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Observe all safety and operational procedures.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;h2&gt;Minimum Requirements&lt;/h2&gt;
