Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification
- Computer literacy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- 1 year of experience in a similar environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative office duties for the Metering Installation Maintenance sub-section.
- Provide first-line administrative advice to customers regarding meter installations.
- Handle first-line queries related to existing meter installations and electrical installations.
- Attend to queries from the public and other departments concerning existing connections, prepayment meters, tampering, tariffs, service connections, and disconnections.
- Ensure consumer data, metering data, and property data are accurate on billing and vending systems.
- Utilize the Business Process Management System to schedule job cards and correct metering data for prepayment, conventional, smart, and AMR meters.
- Ensure all applications are completed according to governance standards.
