School Cleaner Position

We are seeking a hard-working and dedicated School Cleaner to join our friendly school team. You will work as part of a team, undertaking various cleaning duties throughout the school to ensure our children's learning environment is always clean and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Cleaning a variety of rooms and areas across the campus.
• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans, washing, and cleaning windows.
• Liaising with the line manager regarding stock of cleaning products and equipment.
• Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.
• Informing the line manager of repairs that need to be done.
• Providing general support for functions and events on campus when required.
• Following the Holiday Cleaning Duty List as needed.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Fluent English language skills are essential.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding school, staff, and student information; share only with authorized personnel.
• Maintain professional boundaries with staff, parents, and children at all times; conduct must always be professional.
• Experience in a similar cleaning role.
• Appropriate right to work in the country.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good time management skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and a strong team orientation.
• A positive attitude towards change and new situations.
