Position Purpose
Responsible to provide a single point of contact for Information Communication Technology (ICT) support for end-users within TP. This includes providing technical support for desktop computers and other IT equipment’s, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, installing and configuring new software and hardware, and providing training to users on how to use IT equipment’s. To work with other IT staff such as Group ICT and 3rd parties to troubleshoot and resolve outsourced ICT services and equipment’s. To provide first-line support for the TP core operations applications, facilitate the process for the users gain access and assist to navigate through the application.Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 (NQF 4) and Certificate in IT support (NQF Level 5)
- Minimum 5 years’ applicable experience in desktop support environment OR Minimum 8 years’ experience with grade 12 (NQF 4) in the desktop support environment. Number of years with certificates or no formal qualification.
- 5 - 8 Years’ experience Desktop Support environment
