Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve CHAMPS Standards within the restaurant by ensuring all employees focus on exceeding customer expectations for Cleanliness, Hospitality, Accuracy, Maintenance, Product, and Speed of Service.
• Manage shifts according to Company Policies and Procedures, directing employee activities to maximize sales, operating efficiency, and profitability.
• Forecast and schedule shifts, creating a deployment plan using tools like Macromatix to control labour costs and meet business needs.
• Implement controls and procedures to protect the safety and security of employees, customers, property, and company funds.
• Implement restaurant training programs for all staff to maximize performance and help employees realize their career potential.
• Support and demonstrate the How We Win Together at KFC principles, acting as a role model with heart, smart, and courage.
• Manage cost controls per Company Policy, directing employees to meet targets on controllables, maximize sales, operating efficiency, and profitability.
• Manage Local Store Marketing LSM activities to grow sales.
• Ensure training and development meet company standards, taking action to ensure all employees meet required performance standards.
• Achieve consistent results through effective team management.

Requirements

• Prior supervisory and managerial experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
• English Proficiency.
• Numeracy Proficiency.
• Computer Literacy.
• Financial Acumen.
• All Star Certified with an Individual Development Plan (IDP) in place.
• RGM Academy and RGM Certified.
• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) and preferably a suitably related tertiary qualification.
