Job description
Experience:
- Relevant experience in Revenue budgets, assets & liabilities accounts, income generation, and hospital fees systems (UPFS Chapter 18). Practical experience with Clinicom, AR, JAC, HIS, and BAS systems.
Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification, including Mathematics and/or Accounting as passed subjects. Alternatively, Senior Certificate or equivalent with experience/competencies aligning with the Key Performance Areas (KPAs) of the post.
Duties:
- Capture payments and journals on BAS to settle asset and liability accounts. Release transactions on AR for institutions within the Garden Route District.
- Manage all cashier functions, including replenishing petty cash and handling state money responsibly.
- Prepare monthly and yearly reports for Head Office, including in-year monitoring, Revenue Action Plan, and Annexure F documentation.
- Manage, report on, and monitor the district’s revenue budgets.
- Attend revenue meetings and communicate the outcomes to all institutions.
