Job description
Job Purpose
To effectively and efficiently ensure stock availability for sales through planning, placement, and coordination of stock orders, ensuring excellent ongoing customer satisfaction.
Main Objectives
- Plan and control stock availability through optimal forecasting to aid sales and operational efficiencies and minimize stockouts.
- Manage the end-to-end ordering process of items both locally and internationally, including ordering, tracking, and invoicing, to ensure the organization has the right parts at the right time to satisfy customers.
- Support the sales team by ensuring accurate information is available for sales and overall customer satisfaction.
- Compile accurate and detailed information to enable effective business decisions.
- Build working relationships with suppliers to continuously improve service delivery, optimize inventory availability, and open communication channels.
- Ensure effective communication of relevant information to all stakeholders to support decision-making.
Critical Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a relevant qualification.
- 3-5 years of essential experience in a warehouse environment.
