Qualifications
- Three‑year bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 360 credits)
- At least six years relevant experience, with three years in a management role
- Knowledge of GEPF services, products, and systems
Key Performance Areas
- Manage customer relationships in the province, ensuring effective operations and service delivery.
- Develop and maintain annual performance plans and action plans for the office.
- Provide advice on policy development and ensure its implementation.
- Review and streamline processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Update and maintain SOPs for units under management.
- Apply the Batho Pele Principles in all interactions.
- Provide leadership to achieve GPAA strategic objectives.
- Develop and manage statistical data on service standards, bottlenecks, volumes, and error rates.
- Implement quality assurance and data quality strategies; monitor compliance with SOPs.
- Submit timely and accurate statistics, reports, and responses.
- Manage service delays and escalations, especially in payment processes.
- Oversee mobile and walk‑in centre service channels and client liaison.
- Inform communications on marketing and branding needs.
- Manage risk and compliance, including audit processes and the risk register.
- Maintain compliance with SHERQ regulations and report incidents.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and track resolution of stakeholder enquiries and complaints.
- Roll out service channels and support business transformation.
- Act as a change champion, motivating staff and implementing improvement initiatives.
- Develop operational plans, quarterly and annual reports, and keep up with relevant legislation.
- Manage resources, budgets, and performance of direct reports.
- Allocate work based on workload, expertise, and development needs; ensure employment equity.
