HR Administrator: Terminations, Appointments & Transfers

Job type: Full‑time

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, Higher National Certificate, National Diploma (NQF6) or equivalent; Matriculation required.

Experience: 1–2 years of HR experience focusing on terminations, appointments, and transfers.

Location: Gauteng

Key requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) or Senior Certificate with 1–2 years of relevant HR experience. A relevant diploma or degree (minimum NQF6, 360 credits) is advantageous.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for staff terminations, appointments, transfers, and resettlements.
  • Maintain accurate employee files – opening, updating, and closing as needed.
  • Collect and follow up on all required documentation; ensure timely submission to salary and relevant departments.
  • Process transactions on the Persal system, including acting allowances and contract extensions.
  • Prepare and file contracts of employment and related paperwork.
  • Capture Z102 data in PCM and forward necessary documents to appropriate sections.
  • Handle employee enquiries, escalating when necessary.
  • Perform general office administration tasks such as correspondence, report preparation, filing, and logistics.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
