Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nursing Professional to join our dedicated team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, contributing to clinical operations, and supporting the overall objectives of our private healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, demonstrate leadership potential, and have a thorough understanding of the private healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care according to established nursing standards and protocols.
• Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and documented accurately.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with doctors, other healthcare professionals, and support staff.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and supportive clinical environment.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Possess a recognized degree or diploma in nursing.
• Hold current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Have relevant clinical experience demonstrating competence in meeting critical patient care outputs.
• Exhibit demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
• Possess a basic understanding of South African labour legislation relevant to healthcare.
• Have a fundamental grasp of financial management principles and supply chain/logistics within a healthcare context.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the private healthcare sector, its key challenges, and the roles of its stakeholders.
• Be proficient in using relevant computer systems and software.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel as required for the role.
