Human Resources Clerk Position

Minimum Requirements

  • Senior Certificate Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • A valid Code B or higher driving licence. Note: Individuals with disabilities that restrict driving but who have reasonable access to transport are eligible to apply.

Key Performance Areas

  • Perform all PERSAL-related functions and data capture.
  • Provide support for all human resource functions, including:
    • Application of leave policy.
    • Handling injuries on duty.
    • Collection and distribution of quarterly IPDPs.
    • Appointments and service terminations.
    • Maintenance of registers and statistics.
    • Selection, recruitment, and placement.
    • Filing and handling HR-related queries.
    • Providing secretariat functions.
  • Support the Chief Clerk: HR and provide general office support.
  • Assist the District Roads Engineer with related duties.
